The purpose of the Centre  << Microlimano >> of  “ Philadelphia “  is:

​

    • The reception of unaccompanied children from infancy to adolescence, and their support until their restoration. As unaccompanied children we consider, except for minor refuges who arrive unaccompanied in our country, and all those who their natural parents are unable or refuse to accompany them on the most sensitive ages of life.

    • Saving and preservation of life and rights, for children, toddlers and adolescents from any wicked intentions and criminal networks. 

    • The integration into a properly configured environment with the best possible conditions for the physical and psychological support, to enable and activate all of their physical abilities.

    • Their adaptation to the family environment, inside or outside the Centre, in order to receive the necessary attention and special care they need, while undertaking the duties and obligations referable on their part, so as to learn the harmonious coexistence and cooperation.

     • Possibility of adoption, in accordance with applicable law.

     • The upbringing and development of their personality through the principles of  New Testament, to learn to respect and trust God and to respect and love people.

     • Attendance at the Greek school (kindergarten, elementary school, high school, university) and the systematic support in their study, if they join the Centre early, or to provide technical knowledge and professional skills within or outside the Centre in case, they join it at older ages.

     • The possibility to be accommodated in our Centre until their vocational rehabilitation and the smooth and effective integration into society.

     • Our ambition with the help of God, all this to be done in pilot plants at the best possible conditions, providing opportunities that children need to experience the natural creation, the life processes (crops, livestock), the newest technologies (renewable energy sources), in order to give them the opportunities available to well favoured social groups, and enable them to stand effectively in today's competitive environment.
